Blast...

I have a sick little girl at home. I picked her up from school today and she looked so tired and pale. Fever of 101.5, BLAST. She says her throat hurts and she can't talk very well, plus she has really red feet. We are going to the clinic in the morning. Praying that the boys and I don't catch it.

I have survived my time without Aaron, and actually so far I think I've done quite well. Last night the kids were asleep by 8pm and I cleaned the kitchen, did laundry and a few other little projects. I got to sleep by 10:45 and set the alarm for 5:30am. I must admit that I hit the snooze button until 6:10am... but we still made it out the door by 7:30. Not bad.

I was so very happy to find a treat in my email, a free rental from redbox at Dissmores. So, I decided to get a movie that Aaron would not want to watch... a romance. So feeling pretty good about myself and the fact that I was going to get a girly movie for free and get to watch it without any unnecessary comments from the love of my life, I went into Dissmores to get a movie. I decided on The Time Traveler's Wife. The previews made me cry, so I'm sure I'll need my tissues. Anyway, I did the whole redbox thing and realized I did not put the code in and ended up paying the dollar for my free movie. Grrr. Not one to waste a freebie I got a movie for the kids. Isaac was quite excited about this as I had told him we were just getting a Mommy movie. Now my free rental will end up costing several dollars as I will not be going back to Pullman until Sunday since Hannah is home sick. Oh well, at least I still get my chic flick!

So it is 7:15 and two of my kids are asleep. Isaac is up in bed reading books. He'll be out fairly soon and then I can make myself a mocha and start my movie. Oops, Eli is crying. This may not be as simple as first thought! Nevertheless, I will watch my not-so-free movie sometime before the night is done.
