First, the good news is that Tiny has been found. She was in our neighbor's basement. She's back to herself and we are happy she is home... yes, even I am happy she is home. She does annoy me... a lot... but we love her.
Yesterday was an incredible day. The temps were in the upper 70's, so we spent a lot of time outside. I had the windows and doors open. The house was clean, so I could just relax. Aaron and I spent time sitting on the porch. Hannah and Isaac got crazy dirty playing outside and Eli was just happy. For some strange reason the power went out. Oh, bummer. We had to go eat out in Colfax. I was soooo disappointed. I was really looking forward to dishes (note the sarcasm). We ate at a new restaurant in Colfax and I quite enjoyed it. Good food and really nice people, they go to our church! After his bath, I couldn't find Isaac. I found him sitting naked on the front porch, happy as anything. I told him to get inside, he couldn't be naked on the front porch. He said he was just enjoying the light of the sun. What a funny boy! He loves to be naked. Should I be worried????
Today hasn't been as good. It started at 1:53am. Hannah crawled in bed with us and she felt like she was on fire. Yikes. Her temp. was 105.7! I woke Aaron and told him. I was ready to head into the ER, a 25 minute drive to Colfax. I gave Hannah Ibuprofen and within 30 minutes her fever was down to 102, so we decided to wait and see. She is sleeping now, running a temp between 102 and 103 without any meds. Aaron is at church with Isaac. I think I will take her to the ER this afternoon to see what is going on, but I have to wait for the van to return. I will not be going to work tomorrow. I'll be home caring for my little girl. My guess is that her ear infection from the week before Easter never fully cleared up and it is raging again. She is also complaining of a sore throat... strep maybe. I think it is worth it to get her checked today, I less day for the others to catch whatever it is she has, and one less day of misery for her. Ugh.
