Diapering on the Go

I'm not talking about me on the go, I'm talking about baby on the go! It seriously should be a competitive sport. I'm getting better at it everyday. Snapping the closures on the cloth diaper is a little tricky while Eli is crawling away, but I think I might have the technique down. I have experimented with a variety of energetic, crazy songs sung at a ridiculous speed. This has kept his attention, at times, for enough time to get the diaper on... and sometimes his clothing. Various animal sounds also will work... sometimes. The chicken song and dance has been most successful in keeping him still for 10 seconds. Zerberts on his little tummy make him giggle, but then he just wants to turn over to his tummy as fast as he possibly can to play a game of chase. He is a mover!
I now put his socks on while he is crawling. I put his shirt on while he is sitting up playing with a toy. He pants get on in a variety of ways... whatever works at the time.
While at times this is a bit frustrating, it is also quite funny. He is such a cute little guy who would just rather be naked. Slowing down to get a diaper on and warm up with clothing is just not the top priority in little Eli's life... getting to the next thing is!
