Lesson Learned

Both Hannah and Isaac have colds, and probably some seasonal allergies to make things worse. August is the worst for allergies here on the Palouse. Anyway, I gave them each some Dimetapp before heading off the church. No big deal, they've had this medication before. Well, Isaac seemed to develop a new reaction to this particular drug. When the bottle says that it may cause excitability, they weren't kidding. Isaac was non stop movement all through church and beyond, in fact he didn't even take a nap. He ALWAYS naps! He kept trying to climb the pew and hop over the top to the pew in front of us. He was never standing still, either dancing or hopping around. (This got a big smile out of our Pastor). I made sure Aaron had him when we went up for communion... I don't think I could have held onto him! Anyway, I will not be giving Isaac Dimetapp again. Lesson learned.
